Delegation from KNRTU won prize places at the XXII International Research and Practice Forum «SMARTEX»

The International Research and Practice Forum «SMARTEX» was held in Ivanovo city from 25 to 27 of September.

The International Research and Practice Forum «SMARTEX» was held in Ivanovo city from 25 to 27 of September. This is an annual event aimed at developing of scientific commonwealth, business community and government interaction in matters of solving urgent issues of the textile industry and other economy sectors related to it. A delegation from the university took part in it. Within the framework of the forum, with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry, the youth competition of young scientists’ and specialists’ scientific works “LEGPROMNAUKA” was held for a second consecutive year.

More than 150 students, postgraduates, young scientists and specialists from Russia (Moscow, Kazan, Kostroma, Vladimir, Saint-Petersburg, Ivanovo) and such countries as Belarus, China, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan took part in this forum.
The competition was held in the following fields: materials and primary products, advanced manufacturing technologies, instruments and equipment, material engineering, textile chemistry, nanotechnologies, information systems and technologies, robotic science, textile design, fashion-industry, bionics, ecology.
The participants of the competition were given the opportunity to publish an article on the project materials in the scientific periodical journal “Physics of fibrous materials: structure, properties, knowledge intensive technologies and materials (SMARTEX)” (electronic and printed versions, ISSN 2413-6514) with their subsequent placement in the Scientific Electronic Library (SEL) on the eLIBRARY platform and in the Russian list of journals indexed.
Following the results of the competition, assistant to the Department of Medical Engineering Elvina Rakhmatullina, who took the 2nd place, was awarded a diploma and a cash prize for the project in the nomination “Works with high potential for commercialization and implementation."
The associate professor of the Medical Engineering Department Maria Lisanevich was thanked, awarded a diploma and a valuable gift from the Department of Economic Development and Trade of the Ivanovo Region and “Smart Materials” LLC for the project “Development of technologies for improving the comfort of non-woven fabric for the production of surgical clothes and linen”.
